Lakeview Participates on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - August
2008
Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc. was selected to partner with Mahoney Design and Build in the Central New York City of Geneva to complete the landscape construction of a new home for the popular television show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which can be viewed Sundays 8/7c on ABC. Lakeview was chosen to participate as a landscape contractor, donating materials for the project. Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc. employees donated several hundred hours of their personal time over a two day period to complete the extensive landscape of the new home. Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc. worked to complete retaining walls, patios, and extensive landscape plantings around the new home, pool, and gymnasium. Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc. was chosen by Mahoney to participate because of our relationship working with them at Ft. Drum, near Watertown, NY. Lakeview Presented Award for Participation in Habitat for Humanity - September 2008 Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc.was chosen by ACTUS Lend Lease to provide the materials and labor for the landscape construction portion of two Habitat for Humanity homes built by ACTUS in the City of Watertown, NY. Lakeview completed the landscape portion of these two homes in a very condensed time frame, donating the time and materials. ACTUS presented Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc. with an award for their appreciation of the work and dedication. Lakeview Lawn & Landscape, Inc. has participated in the Habitat for Humanity program for several years in different areas of Western New York. |
